...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING THROUGH LATE
TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut, including the following
area, Windham CT. Portions of Massachusetts, including the
following areas, Northern Bristol MA, Northern Worcester MA,
Southern Bristol MA, Southern Worcester MA and Western Norfolk MA.
Portions of Rhode Island, including the following areas, Eastern
Kent RI, Newport RI, Northwest Providence RI, Southeast Providence
RI, Washington RI and Western Kent RI.

* WHEN...From 11 PM EDT this evening through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas, which may impact the Friday
morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Thunderstorms are expected to move into the Watch area later
tonight, with additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms
capable of heavy rainfall for the overnight hours. This may
produce street and urban flooding along with sharp rises on
creeks and streams in the Watch area.
