Norfolk hazard plan to be presented Tuesday
NORFOLK — A mitigation plan for natural hazards such as floods, heat waves, droughts and extreme storms will be presented at Tuesday night’s selectmen meeting, scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. at town hall.
North council budget hearing Wednesday
NORTH ATTLEBORO — The town council on Wednesday will hold its annual public hearing on the proposed budget for the fiscal year starting July 1.
Council members will also decide on how to spend reserve funds.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the lower level of town hall.
North Attleboro hearing on rates Wednesday
NORTH ATTLEBORO — The board of public works is holding a public hearing Wednesday on proposed rates for water, sewer and solid waste. The hearing and meeting are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the DPW facility at 49 Whiting St.
North offices closing
NORTH ATTLEBORO — A few town hall offices will be closing the next two weeks for training.
The elections office will be closed from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 7 and Friday, June 9. The town clerk’s office will be closed Thursday, June 8. The veterans’ services office will be closed Monday, June 12 to Thursday, June 15.
