Baseball:

Southern New Hampshire senior pitcher Alex Person earned his seventh win on the season for the Penmen on Saturday. The right-hander threw his second straight complete game, a 13-4 verdict over Bentley.

The unbeaten Person (7-0) has started nine games this season, throwing a total of 65.2 innings with a 2.74 ERA and tallied 41 strikeouts for the Penman (29-7), who are currently ranked No. 5 in Division 2.

Adam Chochrek, the Clark University senior, belted a three-run double in the Cougars 12-1 win over Coast Guard on Sunday. The Foxboro native also went a perfect 3-for-3 with a trio of doubles and four RBIs in a 15-0 win over the Cadets on Saturday.

Mike Slaby, a Lesley University senior, went 4-for-6 with an RBI and scored a run in a 9-6 win over Eastern Nazarene on Thursday. Slaby also had a hit and a run scored in a 6-3 loss to Mitchell on Saturday.

Golf:

Former Foxboro High Warrior Kyle Newcomb, a sophomore with the Johnson and Wales University team, shot a 2-over-par round of 74 at the Valley CC in West Warwick, R.I., to finish fourth overall at the R.I. College Invitational.

Womens' Lacrosse:

The Bridgewater State junior Brooke Buckner scored a goal in the Bears'12-6 win over Fitchburg State over the weekend. Buckner has 12 goals and three assists on the season.

Foxboro native Carrie Long, a Fitchburg State junior, scored five goals and corralled six ground balls in a 11-7 win over Regis College on Thursday. After scoring a goal against Bridgewater State on Saturday, Long has 22 goals on the season.

A Foxboro alum and MIT junior, Katie Notorangelo scored a pair of goals in a 13-12 win over Emerson College on Saturday. Notorangelo has scored 20 goals in 11 games this season.

Mens' Lacrosse:

A St. Anselm senior, Alex Pacitti tallied six points on four goals in a 19-9 win over Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday.

Womens' Tennis:

Hallie Young, a St. Lawrence senior, won both her singles and doubles matches in consecutive contests against The College of New Jersey on Saturday and Union on Friday.

Young won her singles match 6-4, 6-1 and her doubles contest 8-7 (7-1) against the College of New Jersey while her singles win over Union came in straight sets (6-2, 6-1) doubles (8-4) on Friday.

The Foxboro alum and Stonehill College junior, Emma Prinos earned a 8-2 win over Holy Cross at No. 3 singles on Thursday, while picking up a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles for the Sky Hawks.

Track and Field:

Kat Tamulionis, a Babson College sophomore, was apart of the 4x400 relay team which won the event at the MIT Sean Collier Invitational on Saturday. Tamulionis and the group finished with a school-record time of 4:15.99.

A first-year member of the Beavers, Tamulionis added a third-place finish in the 400 meter hurdles and also took fifth place in the 100-meter hurdles over the weekend.
